Our competition seems to most commonly charge based on the number of vents and different add-on services they can sell. What we see is most common in Spokane is:

We periodically ask customers to see where our pricing fell when they were searching for air duct cleaning. We have found that once you add up all of the pieces of an air duct cleaning that we include, our pricing is actually much lower than some of the $25/vent companies.

Many homes that we service are just under 2,000 square feet. Over our years of experience we found that homes this size have an average of just over 7 supply vents and 2 return vents. When you add up all of the different parts of our service with a traditional pricing strategy you get $495 [(7 supply vents x $25/supply) + (2 return vents x $35/return) + $150 furnace cleaning + $100 sanitation = $495] compared to our guaranteed price of $425. Our pricing may not always look the cheapest, but we believe we offer the best value and stand by the work we do.
Pricing based on square-footage: makes it easy and straightforward, we don't have to sell you on getting the furnace cleaned and break the news about an extra vent we found.

Square Footage - The most reliable and accurate listings using Spokane County Assessor's online property information tool. Simply add up all of the floor's square footage listed under residential sq ft breakdown. We can also make case by case adjustments where there are inaccuracies in the listing.
Additional Furnace - Homes larger than about 3,000 square feet often have 2 or more furnaces or more. Our thorough process requires us to access each furnace and it's connecting ductwork separately. Each additional furnace takes about the same time as a completely separate air duct cleaning. Because we're already at your home, we only charge $200 for each additional furnace.

As with our air duct cleaning service, our dryer vent cleaning includes everything to get the job done right. We test the outside air speed in the beginning and the end of each cleaning to ensure proper air flow. During the process we clean the dryer and the complete dryer vent line to the outside of your home up to 30'.
When scheduled with an air duct cleaning, our dryer vent cleaning service is just $75.
